The Beautiful Woman By Savannah Parker  Chapter 1: Heartbeat Ironically, it was sunny, a beautiful day. I woke up on the floor at a dim house, the light from outside shined through the large window, blinding me. I didn't remember anything from last night. As I forced my eyes open, I saw another person.  By Mariana Yanez           Remote learning is now occurring everywhere in the United States  because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Millions of people around the world have gotten sick. However, some students are getting affected negatively due to the fact that they sit in front of a computer 6 hours a day or more if they do homework.         I believe it matters to know what students feel, so I made a survey students had to complete and rate their online learning experiences. I asked questions like what they disliked about school and what they liked about school, and if they could change anything about school what would it be.           What most students like about remote learning was that they got to stay home and be comfortable. K-pop short for Korean pop is a genre that is inspired by different types of genres around the world such as pop, hip hop, rock, etc. This genre has over 370  k-pop groups, but not only does this genre have groups but also soloists. These singers are called idols. How it all started K-pop first started in the year 1992 after the first group to ever debut were Seo Taiji and Boys. They released Nan Arayo (i know) their first song in 1992. This later started to gain popularity in Korea and it led to other groups’ debut. K-pop started to get popular in America when PSY released his song “Gangnam Style” back in 2013. This song started to get over 1 billion streams which helped gain a lot of American listeners. America was later introduced to a boy band called BTS. BTS started blowing up in 2015, 2 years after their debut. By Briana Naranjo  Every school has a dress code students must follow. But some of those dress codes are out of line when it comes to what girls wear. For girls, there are a lot of school dress codes that dictate how much thigh and how much shoulder they are allowed to show. Many schools have these dress codes so the students dress “modestly,”  which is understandable to a certain extent. However, many school dress codes focus only on what the girls wear and never focus on what boys wear. This has started major outrage from students, as this is an unfair system and should be changed.    Shirts that show collarbones and shoulders are said to be too “distracting” for the boys and are not “appropriate” for the learning environment. These strict dress codes lead to many counts of girls being sent home due to the fact their clothes were too “revealing” or not “appropriate”. It's like having eyes on everyone! 8: Memorize where the camera locations are in each map if you are an imposter, so you don’t get caught! 9: If you are an imposter in a vent, your kill cooldown won’t go down at all. You need to be outside the vents. 10: Make sure the cameras aren't red. If they are someone, is watching you.

Toxic masculinity is what men are taught to believe is “manly.” An example of this is that you can not act “feminine.” Other examples are, they are told to “act tough,”  “be macho,” “don’t cry, you look like a girl.” For many boys/men, this has been the stereotype ever since they were born. Many people believe that toxic masculinity should not exist and that now people are allowed to express themselves no matter what gender they identify as. You go to your high school and find this very mysterious, good-looking boy in your classes. You start talking to him a lot, knowing you both have quite a lot in common, but then you start to get very suspicious. He starts turning away each time you get hurt. Imagine you hang out with a boy you think is very cool and good looking, and you go to his house.
