Five Ways to Support the Black Lives Matter Movement From Home ...
In response to the murder of George Floyd and the protests that followed, students were given the opportunity to compose and record original protest music. Here are a few really powerful 6th grade submissions.

all these people rioting
another life lost to the police
All this looting and stealing
fires burnin’ everywhere 


VERSE1: I feel like I'm Sean Bell in in 2006, the police still killing us and it just don't make no sense. And the way police be shooting us it just don't make no sense. Uhh it make no sense
CHORUS: Make no sense uhh it make no sense, noo, police brutality it just don't make no sense, nahh
VERSE 2:. They can hit us, they can kill us, they can choke us, go to court they never guilty (Nahh) these police killing young brothers who can never make it back to there mothers (Nahh)
CHORUS: Make no sense. Noo make no sense.
CHORUS: I fell like I'm Trayvon in 2012 we still fighting for change it just don't make no sense (nuh uh).
