Top 5 Marvel Movies [SPOlLER ALERT]

By Farhan Ahmed

As the infinity saga ended (Iron Man to Avengers: Endgame), I went to the HPCMS Library on October 17th, 2019 to ask people about their favorite Marvel movie based on the 22 movies. Here are the results I got from asking 17 people.
5th: Avengers: Infinity War (1 Vote)

It is the movie everyone has been expecting since the release of Iron Man in 2008, it is the beginning of the end for the Infinity Saga; Avengers: Infinity War!

Avengers: Infinity War is the movie everyone was looking forward too since the cliffhanger in Thor: Ragnarok, when Thor’s ship was taken over by Thanos’ even bigger ship, with fans eventually learning all the Asgardians are dead in the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War. The movie eventually leads up to the “blip” of half of all life in the universe dies. A truly sad ending, but not the saddest.
4th: Captain America: CiviI War (2 Votes)

Captain America: Civil War is the final movie of the Captain America series. As we learn about how Bucky was alive and doesn’t recall anything that happened during the events of World War II, we also learn that he has managed to get the superhuman-like abilities like Steve Rogers (or Captain America). As his life is in danger due to the events of his past, he meets Steve once again, trusting him.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Government isn’t very happy with the Avengers. After destroying an entire country, and threatening the future of humanity multiple times (they also saved the world multiple times, but paranoid governments ignore the good facts). Ever since the “death” of Nick Fury and the disbandment of S.H.I.E.L.D. (the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division), the Avengers went “rogue.” No, they didn’t start committing crimes with their advanced technology. They took care of missions too advanced for any military to take care of (H.Y.D.R.A. meetings, robots accidently hating humanity, mad titans trying to get rid of half of all life in the universe because they had a random dream one day, etc). However, the militaries of the world all agree that they are doing their jobs too recklessly. As a solution, there was an offer for the Avengers to either stand down or attend a meeting to sign the Sokovia Accords is a “legislation that required all enhanced individuals to reveal their secret identities and disclose their powers for regulation.”

Tony Stark was traumatized and paranoid, so he gave in and agreed to the deal. However, Steve didn’t agree with it, therefore, the name Captain America: Civil War.
3rd: Thor: Ragnarok (3 Votes)
Thor: Ragnarok is an amazing movie, which is why it is in the top three! The movie is about Thor’s evil sister, Hela, who is also the rightful successor to the throne of Asgard. Odin died, and Hela was free, destroying Mjolnir and proving superiority to Thor within the first minute of her freedom (shows how powerful she is). Thor is tossed into this garbage planet, where he is also found and kidnapped by a Valkyrie, who took Thor to this planet where he was fighting the Hulk (Bruce Banner is finally back). Apparently, he was stuck as the Hulk for two years!

I don’t want to spoil the movie too much, because it is better if you just watch it.
2nd: Spiderman: Homecoming (5 Votes)

Spiderman: Homecoming is the first of many Spiderman movies that are relevant to the MCU (the Marvel Cinematic Universe). Peter Parker, this friendly neighborhood spiderman from Queens, New York City, is also Tony Stark’s “intern.” The job is just a cover for his daily patrols as Spiderman. He tries to stop a group of people from stealing high-tech weapons from Avengers Tower, while also nearly causing civilian casualties (he nearly sunk a boat at one point). Overtime, he learns that the father of the girl he has a crush on is actually Vulture, the antagonist of the movie. He tracks him down, and fights him, while nearly getting crushed after a wall collapsed on him. Eventually, after the same thing happens to Vulture, Peter saves him and sends him to prison (he doesn’t want to kill anyone).
1st Place: Avengers: Endgame (6 Votes)

Avengers: Endgame is obviously 1st place. Avengers: Endgame has earned less than 1$ global box office receipts. Avengers: Endgame is now the top grossing movie of all time, and probably the longest movie in the MCU.

After, searching for all the remaining avengers, they all grouped up to find all of infant bind before thenos did so he doesn’t destroy 1half of all halfs in the universe in the universe (by building a time machine, petty click). After, undoing all that thenos did, one of the mistakes was done by Nebula caused 2014 Nebula to come and screw it up, starting the beginning of the actual endgame. All the blipped Avengers come together in one army, fighting against 2014 Thanos’ army. Then…It happened:
