Season 6 Fortnite Battle Pass Review

(Note to Reader: If you are not a fan of Fortnite, then I would not recommend reading this article. It is for people who play Fortnite and know the basics of the game).

Ah, Season 6. I know it’s over, but I still thought I should still write an article about it. So here’s my honest opinion on all of the Season 6 Battle Pass.

Below is a list of all of the new Season 6 perks and cosmetics plus my opinion on them.

First things first, let’s review the first tier.
  1. DJ Yondre. This guy is fire. Epic had put off adding llama related skins to fortnite, but finally, we have DJ Yondre 
  2. Calamity. Probably one of the more popular tier 1 skins, for obvious reasons, and Epic has done a pretty good job on her 
  3. Yay! Your first 10% xp boost! 
  4. The pickaxe banner is a pickaxe. It’s pretty boring, even though it goes with the theme of Season 6 
  5. A 100 V-Buck salary 
  6. Bang! That’s all I have to say about this emoticon. It also goes really well with Calamity 
  7. The Calamity spray is just more Calamity themed stuff. The skin, the emoticon, now this 
  8. Picnic. Really? I dont think a flying picnic is very appealing. You’d probably fall off 
  9. Next, a cool campfire for your banner 
  10. Got dat 5% friend xp boost boi! 
  11. OMG, this loading screen is amazing and I will never use any other loading screen. I mean, all the emoticons ever? It’s just amazing! 
  12. Another V-Buck salary 
  13. Bonsey…why couldn’t they add a cat instead? Cats are way better 
  14. Squeaky clean is a really good remix of the original floss song, so it’s sort of OG 
  15. A ghost for your banner 
  16. This smash up pickaxe is SUPER hype. It goes well with DJ Yondre 
  17. It’s gg, but it’s in a potion… awesome! 
  18. Yay, a boring 10% xp boost! 
  19. Yet another salary of V-Bucks 
  20. The exhaust contrail is super cool. It practically makes you a rocket ship 
  21. This is just a cool, cat spray paint 
  22. Pastel Patrol loading screen is okay, even though Fortnite is just turning a bunch of skins into loading screens.
  23. El crack banner, can’t help but crack up about this banner 
  24. Giddy up is probably even better that DJ Yondre in terms of llama skins. It’s so cool and you even get a special emote that comes with the skin 
  25. A 5% xp boost for your friends. Yay friends! 
  26. More DJ Yondre merch 
  27. The plunger emoticon is perfect for when you get a clinger elimination 
  28. 100 V-Buck salary 
  29. The tomato toy! (Splat!) 
  30. Camo is super cute in my opinion but not better than scales, a pet I will review later 
  31. Next is a cool spray of a monster under a manhole. It’s okay to put on the ground I guess 
  32. Running man is a cool dance with cool music, but it’s a pretty old dance. It was popular around the early 90’s, and Fortnite is a 2017-2018 game, so it’s pretty outdated 
  33. Next is a cool dice banner if your into luck and stuff like that 
  34. Another xp boost to get further ahead in the battle pass! 
  35. Again, more turning skins into loading screens 
  36. A V-Buck salary. Yay 
  37. Fireflies contrail is pretty cool, but where are the fireflies coming from? 
  38. Llama de muertos is just weird 
  39. Now, campers have a special emote dedicated to themselves! 
  40. The covered crusader is super spooky and has… gooold! 
  41. Even more DJ Yondre merch. Now he has a spray too 
  42. A 5% boost to increase your friends xp even though you have none! 
  43. Another 100 V-Buck salary. Again 
  44. Scales is the coolest pet/backbling ever to come to Fortnite! It’s super cute and breathes fire if you get a victory royale! 
  45. More turning skins into loading screens. Yay 
  46. 1000 season xp to help you get even further in the battle pass! 
  47. Ohhhhh the Slimy ghost is spooky and slimy! 
  48. Okay, Fable. A lot of my friends really like this skin and I personally like it a lot too. It’s very detailed and looks really cool 
  49. This black widow spray is perfect for scaring your friends 
  50. Yay more xp boosts! 
  51. The lightning banner is cool even though there’s no lightning in Fortnite 
  52. Scaredy cat is a cool emoticon that you can use after killing a default 
  53. Another V-Buck salary 
  54. Even though this eerie music is cool and creepy, it’s sort of boring. It’s not like squeaky clean at all because it’s more chill and there’s no drop 
  55. Cactus spray, Ouch! 
  56. Dusk wings are super cool and go well with Dusk. It’s literally in the name 
  57. Another thing to go with dusk. Now there’s a bat banner too! 
  58. 5% friend xp boost 
  59. Yay even more V-Bucks! 100 more goes to the stash! 
  60. The white variation of bonsey and all the variations of pets are sort of just Epic being lazy 
  61. Oh wow more just turning skins into loading screens. Now the special tomato head has a loading screen too! 
  62. Mucho season xp! 1,000 in all! Yay! 
  63. Pattern banner is just laziness. It’s literally just a pattern on a banner 
  64. Slitherin’ is a super cool dance with super cool music, but it’s just wiggle 2.0. Still cool though 
  65. Another 10% percent xp boost! amazing! 
  66. Now they’re turning gliders into loading screens too! I mean, laser chomp is a cool glider, but I would never use this loading screen 
  67. Meet? LOL thats a funny emoticon. It’s Fortnite’s version of spam 
  68. 1,000 season xp won’t help you very much further on in the battle pass when you need 50,000 xp to level up 
  69. Wow! More Dusk merch! Now bats can magically appear from your limbs! 
  70. Bubbles banner… bubbles… MUH BUBBLES GIMMIE MUH BUBBLES! Bubbles are good 
  71. A salary of V-Bucks! Now you can waste all the V-Bucks you just got on trash skins like Flytrap! Hurray! 
  72. Wow, were already at Dusk. Dusk is an okay skin I would say, and the glider is very cool, but it’s definitely not as good as Fable 
  73. Gremlins spray is weird. They just look like graph bars and nothing like gremlins 
  74. Another boring friend xp boost. You can’t even use it, because you don’t have friends. Poor you.
  75. As much as I like Scales, just making it pink is sort of boring. Epic should make more pets rather than just changing the colors of current pets 
  76. More V-Bucks to waste on crappy skins! 
  77. This fancy tomato is super fancy, and it’s a little bit bigger, so that means a bigger splat! 
  78. Eww. Mosquito banner… I hate mosquitos. They just sting you and annoy you. And now it’s a banner? What have you done Epic?! 
  79. Wow. More boringness. Epic has to stop turning skins into loading screens. Dusk too? She was an actual good skin, and Epic ruined her by turning her into a loading screen. Shame on you Epic 
  80. Ah, swarm. Probably my favorite glider of the battle pass, and it goes with the theme of bats and Dusk 
  81. Oni spray I find kind of weird. I haven’t seen one person use this in game and I will personally never. If you didn’t know, it’s sort of like and Indian or Native American, and it doesn’t go well with the theme of this game 
  82. Another 10% xp boost, at this point, your almost to 120% xp boost! Just one away! 
  83. Ok. Wow. Now Epic is turning skins into banners! I mean, enough is enough Epic! You can’t be turning OG skins like the skull trooper into banners! It’s not right! 
  84. Spectral essence is definitely cool, don’t get me wrong, but I feel that it doesn’t go with the western theme of season 6 
  85. I am just done with Epic turning skins into loading screens. It’s pure laziness. Ravage too? She didn’t do anything to deserve this! 
  86. Yay more V-Bucks to save up so you can buy another crappy skin! 
  87. Even though Nightshade is cool, she looks very derpy. Even more derpy than Tomato Head, so that’s saying a lot. She is technically Tomato Head 2.0, so it’s expected that she would be even more derpy 
  88. Night Cloak Is a really good backbling that would probably go well with a lot of skins besides Nightshade 
  89. Wow! Congratulations! You have maxed out your friend xp boost even though you have no friends! 
  90. Now they’re turning skins into sprays!? Despicable! Raven did nothing to deserve this! 
  91. More laziness. The brown version of bonsey? Why couldn’t have they added a cat instead? 
  92. More V-Bucks!? I thought I had found all the V-Bucks! 
  93. OG music is amazing! Even though i’m not OG, I still know that this is an amazing song, and I know what it means to real OG players. 
  94. Oooh, Dire loading screen. A sneak peak to what’s ahead. But still shame on you Epic 
  95. Clown emoticon? It’s just weird 
  96. The Flamenco emote it cool, but I don’t like the dance too much. The music is great, but the dance… not as good 
  97. Congratulations! You have maxed out your personal xp boost! Now you can sleep for the first time since the season has come out! 
  98. The black version of Scales. Sigh. I want to complain about this laziness, but it’s actually a good color scheme. You’ve won this time Epic, but next time you won’t be so lucky! 
  99. This Is the last spree of laziness from Epic. Turning the final tier skin into a spray. Well, at least the torture is over. 
  100. Dire. Wow. We’ve finally made it. The first level is okay, and level two is great, but the rest of the levels are just changing the colors of the fur and adding a tiny little detail. Overall, it’s a good skin.

The Downside of School Dress Codes for Female Students

By Briana Naranjo  Every school has a dress code students must follow. But some of those dress codes are out of line when it comes to what girls wear. For girls, there are a lot of school dress codes that dictate how much thigh and how much shoulder they are allowed to show. Many schools have these dress codes so the students dress “modestly,”  which is understandable to a certain extent. However, many school dress codes focus only on what the girls wear and never focus on what boys wear. This has started major outrage from students, as this is an unfair system and should be changed.    Shirts that show collarbones and shoulders are said to be too “distracting” for the boys and are not “appropriate” for the learning environment. These strict dress codes lead to many counts of girls being sent home due to the fact their clothes were too “revealing” or not “appropriate”. Disney Channel Character from “Andi Mack” comes out as gay, and other LGBT characters.

By Dash Fisher Hunters Point Community Middle School - It’s your neighbourly and friendly friend here, Dash! In the show Andi Mack, a character comes out as gay to his friend. Here are my thoughts and feelings about it. Andi Mack is a Disney Channel show about tweens going through middle school. Starring Peyton Elizabeth Lee as Andi Mack, Andi Mack is turning 13 when her older sister Bex returns home. Andi goes through her teenage life, with the help of her family and her friends Cyrus and Buffy, on top of coping with the discovery that Bex is actually her mother and that her mother Celia “Cece” is actually her grandmother, and managing her crush on classmate Jonah Beck. While another one of Andi’s friends, Cyrus, also has a crush on Jonah. So, in the show Cyrus comes out as gay. Gay is the G in LGBTQ+. LGBTQ+ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and the plus stands for other sexualities/genders including but not limited to Pensexual, Asexual, and Intersex.
